Watch: In-home gesture recognition via Wi-Fi signals
As explained in the video below, University of Washington computer scientists have developed a Wi-Fi -based gesture-recognition technology. The researchers have shown that it's possible to leverage Wi-Fi signals around us to detect specific movements without needing sensors on the human body or cameras. The project page for the research on the new technology, dubbed WiSee, is here: http://wisee.cs.washington.edu.
