Former AlcaLu strategist joins Infonetics as data center and cloud analyst

Clifford Grossner, Ph.D., formerly of network equipment manufacturer Alcatel-Lucent, joins Infonetics as directing analyst for data center and cloud.

Market research firm Infonetics Research has announced the addition of Clifford Grossner, Ph.D., to its analyst team. Grossner, formerly of network equipment manufacturer Alcatel-Lucent, joins Infonetics as directing analyst for data center and cloud.

“We’re ecstatic to welcome seasoned telecom industry veteran and research scientist Clifford Grossner to the Infonetics team,” comments J'Amy Stewart, CEO and co-founder of Infonetics Research. She continues, “Cliff’s strong enterprise data center background and more than 20 years of product management and marketing experience with telecom vendors big and small, including Alcatel-Lucent, Nortel, Bell Labs, Sesame Networks, NewStep and March Networks, will help us take our data center and cloud coverage to a deeper level. In fact, he’s already set in motion plans to expand our coverage of enterprise software-defined networking (SDN) and cloud services.”

Company co-founder and principal analyst Michael Howard and directing analyst Matthias Machowinski, who have been leading Infonetics’ data center and cloud coverage, will work closely with Grossner as he transitions into the directing analyst role.
