BICSI bringing RCDD training to South Korea

Agreement with Korea Radio Promotion Association calls for cooperation and development of programs; DD102 will be the first course offered.

BICSI recently announced it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Korea Radio Promotion Association (RAPA) “for the purpose of mutual cooperation and development of educational programs to foster the growth of global information and communications technology specialists.”

Per the MOU, RAPA will hold and promote BICSI Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) training in South Korea. BICSI’s DD102: Designing Telecommunications Distribution Systems is the first course that will be held as part of the yearlong agreement. The course is being held December 2-7.

BICSI’s president Jerry L. Bowman, RCDD, NTS, RTPM, CISSP, CPP, CDCDP, said, “We are pleased to be working with RAPA to offer BICSI training in South Korea. As a global training organization, BICSI is committed to providing top-quality education around the world. It is an honor to bring our standards- and best-practices-based programs to the area.”

RAPA is an affiliated organization of Korean Ministry of Science, ICT [Information Communications Technology] and Future Planning. It was established by the Radio Waves Act of Korea. RAPA promotes and supports Korean radio waves, broadcasting and telecommunications industry, and organizes technical professional training courses about radio waves, broadcasting and telecommunications.
