Ethernet Alliance announces 2014 board of directors

Consortium says new board is poised to address technologies along the road to 400 Gb/s Ethernet.

The Ethernet Alliance has announced its newly elected board of directors and officers for its 2014 term. With the confirmation of the new leadership roster, the technology consortium says it is "well-positioned to continue its pursuit of global Ethernet ecosystem growth and development and support the next generation of Ethernet speeds, starting with 400 Gb/s Ethernet."

Elected and confirmed at the 2014 Ethernet Alliance Members Meeting in Indian Wells, California, the group's incoming officers and board members include:

-- John D’Ambrosia, Dell; Chairman, Board of Directors
-- Scott Kipp, Brocade; President, Treasurer, Board of Directors
-- Howard Frazier, Broadcom; Secretary, Board of Directors
-- David Fair, Intel; Board of Directors
-- Tom Fawcett, JDS Uniphase (JDSU); Board of Directors
-- Gilda Foss, NetApp; Board of Directors
-- Manoj Wadekar, QLogic; Board of Directors
