Cloud computing success demands the right connectivity

In a new white paper, GTT explains that a cloud solution is only as good as the network that supports it.

GTT Communications, among the leading global cloud networking providers to multinational enterprises, announced the release of a new white paper, entitled Cloud Computing Success Demands the Right Connectivity. The white paper emphasizes why it is critically important for enterprises to use private connectivity, rather than the public Internet, to access their IT applications and services residing in the cloud.

Cloud adoption has moved beyond the tipping point, with the majority of enterprises using some form of cloud computing in their business,” notes Rick Calder, president and CEO of GTT. “Many companies use the public Internet to access cloud applications, but a private network provides the security, performance and reliability many organizations need to support their mission-critical business operations.”

In this white paper, GTT explains that a cloud solution is only as good as the network that supports it. The firm suggests that when an enterprise partners with a network provider that delivers flexible, reliable and secure access to the cloud, IT executives can be confident they have the best solution to support the company’s IT applications and services.
