Retractable tonneau covers protect cabling contractors' truck-bed tools, gear

For maximum bed accessibility and convenience, the electric RUBC model allows users to simply press a switch located in either the cab or an exterior compartment to open or close the bed cover.

The Retractable Utility Bed Cover (RUBC) tonneaus from Pace Edwards provide a wide array of useful options for work trucks. Available in both manual and electric-powered models, Pace Edwards can equip service-body hard tonneau covers delivering secure, convenient, attractive storage for tools and a variety of equipment.

For maximum bed accessibility and convenience, the electric RUBC model allows users to simply press a switch located in either the cab or an exterior compartment to open or close the mechanism. When closed, the RUBC tonneau cover retracts into a front canister for full, easy access to the truck bed. Electromagnetic brakes enable users to lock the cover into any position along the rails for storage flexibility. And if truck power should fail, the tonneau’s drive mechanism can be released for manual operation.

The tonneaus are designed specifically for service-body trucks, fitting most 8-foot and 9-foot models. Longer custom lengths are available. The tonneaus are made with tough, black, powder-coated aluminum panels, interlocked for strength and durability; they are fully secure when closed, even when the tailgate is unlocked.

“Our RUBC tonneau isn’t just a truck accessory, it’s an investment that protects your tools and allows users to be more efficient,” asserts Vern Kaufman, sales and business development manager, Pace Edwards. “Anyone who researches bed covers for work trucks will discover that the Pace Edwards RUBC tonneau is head and shoulders above all other tonneaus in terms of value and functionality.”
