In a web seminar that will be broadcast live on Thursday, June 18, Keith Smith, senior sales engineer with Dura-Line, will deliver a one-hour presentation on the characteristics, specifications, uses, and benefits of jetted fiber cable systems. Hosted by Cabling Installation & Maintenance and sponsored by Dura-Line along with AFL, the seminar is titled “Network Advantages with Jetted Fiber Cable Pathway Solutions.”
In describing the seminar, Dura-Line and AFL explain, “Optimum networks would be easy to expand, upgrade, and grow with the user’s requirements. It would be possible to spread the investment of building the network over time, as the need grows. Optimum networks are possible with eABF Solution-designed networks. Networks designed with eABF Solutions have many advantages: ability to increase bandwidth capacity easily; moves/adds/changes are easy to accommodate; fewer disruptions in day-to-day business in environments like hospitals, corporate campuses, manufacturing facilities, data centers and broadcast studios; inventive network architecture design options.”
The eABF system is a collaborative offering comprising AFL and Dura-Line products. Smith will spend some time during the seminar explaining the system’s components (such as the system’s interconnect capability, shown in the image below), and the processes for installing the eABF system. He also will describe how such a system compares to other fiber-optic cable installation methods, drawing specific attention to situations and environments in which the jetted fiber cable system provides advantages over alternatives.
After its live broadcast on June 18, the seminar will be available for on-demand viewing for six months. Attendees who view the seminar in its entirety—live or on-demand—will be eligible to receive one continuing education credit toward BICSI’s professional credentials.
