Wall mount
Quest Controls' Telsec 1500WM wall mount is a microprocessor-based system that lets you use direct or remote monitoring to protect remote facilities, including huts, controlled environment vaults (CEVs), central electronic complexes (CECs), and cabinets. This wall mount combines HVAC control, environmental monitoring, battery and power capacity monitoring, telephony equipment monitoring, card access control of the main door, and cable pressure and airflow monitoring. It lets you directly and/or remotely monitor and control HVAC systems and other environmental factors such as temperature, humidity, smoke, toxic and explosive gas, intrusion, and generator status. Also, you may monitor a remote facility's telephony equipment, including multiplexers, fiber optics, rectifiers, cable pressure, airflow, and card control access. NEBS Level III-approved and Telecordia Network Monitoring and Analysis (NMA) system-compatible, the wall mount features standard connectors on system modules that connect to pre-connectorized, pre-wired terminal blocks.

Cabinet
SME Racks' SmartRack measures and monitors information about the computer's environment in real time, including humidity, temperature (at multiple levels within the enclosure), airflow velocity, and current and voltage at the power distribution unit (PDU). An "intrusions detection and alarms notification" feature notifies the network administrator of suspicious events via e-mail, simple network management protocol (SNMP) message, cellular phone, or user-programmable beeper. Using a Web browser, the IT person can connect to the enclosure and view events happening at the remote site in real time.

Cable management software
Compliant with the Commercial Building Telecommunications Cabling (ANSI/TIA/EIA) 606A standard, IMAP Textron's docIT software creates a relational blueprint of an infrastructure's networks and telecommunications system. Once implemented, the software provides tracking capabilities, manages assets and users of the cabling infrastructure, generates detailed reports, and helps you plan future projects. The software tracks the location in question and provides a detailed report of who, where, and what is currently at the location. This application may be used in conjunction with Microsoft Visio to help navigate and garner database information diagrams.
