The mdvoflex series comprises snap-together faceplates and modular inserts that create a complete line of multimedia workstation outlets. The modular-insert approach provides flexibility and allows for modification in line with network evolution.
The faceplates are available in flush and angled- entry styles and in single- and double-gang formats to suit various designs of workstation outlets. The plates have the capacity for six ports per single-gang outlet. Installers can attach the faceplates to standard electrical boxes for flush-mount installation or assemble them over mdvoflex adapter boxes for surface-mount installations.
Front-loaded inserts are available in configurations required to terminate unshielded twisted-pair, fiber-optic, coaxial, audio, and video cables in a multimedia cabling system, according to the manufacturer. The plates, adapter boxes, and inserts are compatible with several commercially available raceways, power poles, floor boxes, and other wire-management systems.
