M12 connectors for outdoor use withstand temperature extremes

A new line of signal and data plug connectors from Phoenix Contact is designed for outdoor use, and are guaranteed to provide dependable, reliable connections at temperatures between -40 and +105 degrees Celsius.

The M12 Outdoor product line also resists salts, acids, oils and chemicals, Phoenix Contact says, adding that materials used in the connector's manufacture resist UV radiation and ozone. The 4-position M12 connector features a stainless steel thread and a coupling nut.
