Tripp Lite has introduced two new models to its SmartRack line of wall-mount rack enclosures. The new wall-mount enclosures feature a slim design that accommodates shallow network switches and patch panels common in telecom applications, says the company. The wall-mount style keeps equipment off the floor, while the slim design saves space and allows easy equipment access in confined areas such as wiring closets and remote cabinets.

The new models include the SRW12U13 and SRW18US13, supporting up to 200 and 250 lbs. of equipment. Both feature a locking, reversible front door and locking, removable side panels. The PCI-compliant enclosures meet stringent physical security requirements. Reversible mounting rails allow for more installation options; ventilated top and bottom panels enable increased airflow. The enclosures ship fully assembled for quick installation.

“These two new racks add to our growing line of wall-mount enclosures,” comments Craig Watkins, product manager for Tripp Lite. “Their slim design and locking panels and doors are ideal for customers who need to keep equipment secure but are short on space.”
