WAGO Corporation says that its Ethernet 2.0 (IP20) and Speedway (IP67) Ethernet Starter Kits can offer a low-cost approach to industrial network installation training. Developed to provide the fundamental elements of the WAGO-I/O-SYSTEM, the ETHERNET Starter Kits from WAGO Corporation deliver comprehensive I/O nodes for industrial networking applications, complete with software site licenses and hardware. Based on WAGO’s IP20 and IP67 control platforms, the kits feature supplementary I/O modules, power supplies and cabling.

Augmenting the kits are free, downloadable sample applications including: visualization, controlling process digital inputs and outputs, controlling rotating machinery and processing the fieldbus controller’s real-time clock. The company is a specialist spring pressure connection technology that eliminates loose wires resulting from vibration and temperature cycling, while providing highly reliable, corrosion-resistant and maintenance-free connections. A Quick Start Guide and Tools & Documents DVD are also included in the kits, to better support training, says Wago.
