Data center containment specialist Polargy partners in Australia

Polargy partners with Australia's Rack Technologies.

Polargy has reportedly partnered with Rack Technologies, an Australian manufacturer of rack system enclosures and accessories. Under the agreement, Rack Technologies will distribute, sell, and service Polargy’s data center containment systems in Australia and New Zealand.

“Rack Technologies is an ideal partner for Polargy in Australia,” commented Frederick Garnier, vice president of channel sales at Polargy. “Their local design, manufacturing and installation expertise is the perfect extension of Polargy’s US manufacturing, sales and service operations. Their strong customer support orientation will help ensure optimal outcomes for customers of all types and sizes.”

Polargy’s ranged of hot- and cold-aisle containment and data center cooling products are designed to optimize cooling and energy efficiency in the operation of facilities. Together, the partnered companies say they are are well positioned to reduce operating costs for large and small data centers across Australia, reflecting growing environmental awareness and responsibility in the data center industry.

Airflow management and containment solutions have rapidly become an operating best practice in both new construction and legacy data centers worldwide, notes Polargy. As the airflow containment market expanded in 2013, Polargy previously announced record sales of such products as its PolarDam Air Dam Foam and the launch of its new P2 Swing Door.
