R&M’s New Regional Manager for South America

R&M recently appointed Oliver Grill as Regional Manager for South America, while he simultaneously becomes Managing Director of Reichle & De-Massari Brazil Ltda. 

Grill has 13 years of experience managing the market activities of European companies in South America. For the past three years he has managed a company he built for fiber optic cable assembly which supplies customers in Brazil. With Grill’s extensive managing experience R&M has made a strategic move in appointing him to the region.

South America is a “strategic growth market for R&M as many fiber optic broadband networks and data centers are being built there. R&M provides infrastructure solutions and locally manufactured products for these networks and data centers.”

In Brazil in particular, R&M is a leading player in the market for telecommunications technology, broadband networks, cabling and connectivity for data centers and local area networks.” The company has a network of distributors and technical sales offices in the South American region and even has its own plant in Minas Gerais for fiber optic network components “with local design expertise and for structured cabling”.

Regarding Grill being appointed R&M’s CEO, Michel Riva, stated that he is an “experienced and well-connected manager director”. He went on to say, “Oliver has extensive management experience in repositioning and growing companies in our industry.”

R&M’s Executive Vice President of the Americas commented, “Oliver Grill brings experience in building teams and customer relationships. He will further develop our strategy in South America accordingly.”
