Molex manufactures a comprehensive portfolio of copper and fiber MPN Structured Cabling solutions for transmitting voice, data and video signals.

Molex will showcase its end-to-end MPN Structured Cabling solutions line at the 2018 BICSI Winter Conference & Exhibition. The annual show for cabling design and installation professionals in the information and communications technology (ICT) community will be held February 4 – 8 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.

Molex manufactures a comprehensive portfolio of copper and fiber MPN Structured Cabling solutions for transmitting voice, data and video signals. Molex's booth #208 at the BICSI show will feature "the robust and scalable MPN Structured Cabling solutions designed to enable networking infrastructure with maximum performance, efficiency and reliability," says the company. "The MPN enterprise solutions deliver power-saving IP connectivity to native digital devices and legacy systems with optimization for high-speed data transmission and premise edge networking."

“Digitization, analytics and edge computing deliver unprecedented value, yet require solutions that are agile and cost-effective. Today’s premise networking developers, integrators, installers, and end-user customers know they can count on MPN solutions to be economical, exceptional quality and deliver superior high-speed data reliability and availability across the network,” said Michael McDonald, MPN general manager, Molex.

Supporting IP convergence, Molex technologies for Power over Ethernet (PoE) distributed networks deliver electrical power and signals over standard low-voltage category cabling to various endpoints, including LED lighting, HVAC controls, cameras and other local networked devices. Resilient PoE distributed networks offer high availability for power, uninterrupted service and lower operating expenses. Fully-integrated technologies incorporate advanced controls and IP-based connectivity across systems to reduce energy use and streamline operations.

Integrating field-proven cabling and wireless technologies, the low-voltage Molex Transcend Network Connected Lighting System delivers a unique cost-effective infrastructure utilizing granularly distributed sensors to drive real-time energy usage reporting, sensor-based occupancy reporting, light status and environmental monitoring. The ability to migrate lighting and other synergistically controlled building functions to an IP-based infrastructure creates business value and an asset for building developers and enterprises.

“Molex brings over three decades experience designing and manufacturing enterprise network solutions for some of the largest organizations in the world. Our premium quality MPN Structured Cabling solutions provide a future-ready foundation in the era of widespread digital transformation,” adds McDonald.

The company's High-speed MPN Structured Cabling solutions support all leading equipment vendors and networking protocols, and are backed by a 25-year warranty when installed as a certified system by a certified Molex installer. Molex services include design, prototyping, manufacturing and infrastructure deployment for consistent quality and adherence to stringent specifications and standards in data centers, healthcare, educational, manufacturing and industrial applications.
