General Cable offers interactive catalog

July 29, 2011
New online catalogs allow users to print all or some pages, save portions of pages, and share with others.

The new catalogs produced by General Cable, including its catalog of datacom cable, have gone interactive. Each of General Cable's catalogs is available online. Users can download the entire catalog or any number of pages within it.

Other capabilities make the catalogs interactive. Users can begin at the table of contents and with a single click jump to any section of the catalog. Also, the online catalog allows users to conduct key-word searches. In addition to printing single or multiple pages, catalog users can highlight any portion of a single page and save that portion as a JPEG file.

General Cable has developed a "Wire Wizard" that provides a brief walkthrough of the catalogs' functionalities. You can view the Wire Wizard video here.

You can also go directly to General Cable's datacom-cable-product catalog here.
