Fiber-optic closures

April 1, 1997
Universal Closures protect the straight or branch splices of high-pair-count telecommunications copper and fiber-optic cables. With a sealing system that is elastic and compressible, the closures can be assembled onto cut or uncut cables. They suit direct-buried, aerial, and underground installations. The closures consist of two plastic end caps, connection bars, the closure cover, and the sealing and closing system. Each closure has permanent, reusable sealing material.
