Fairview Microwave Launches RF Fixed Attenuators and Terminations Operating Up To 18GHz

July 4, 2024
Fairview Microwave’s latest RF fixed attenuators and terminations can be utilized for various industry applications.

Fairview Microwave recently released RF fixed attenuators and terminations that can support a maximum frequency of 18 GHz. Because they can meet high-frequency demands, they are ideal for telecommunications, aerospace, and test and measurement applications.

The RF fixed attenuators come in various power ratings of 2 watts, 10 watts, and 50 watts, and come in SMA, N-type, BNC, and TNC connectorized designs. Due to their attenuation levels of between 1 dB to 40 dB, they accommodate a wide breadth of RF signal requirements in different systems. “Additionally, the range includes terminations with maximum power ratings of 2 watts and 5 watts, ensuring versatile solutions for terminating RF signals.”

The components are made from brass and stainless steel and were designed with durability and reliability in mind. As they can operate across a broad frequency range, capping at 18 GHz, they provide “essential functionality” in military and commercial applications while also meeting industry standards. The attenuators and terminations can be easily integrated with existing systems and ensure high performance with their angled design.

“With expanded connector options and precision attenuation capabilities, our new line ensures superior performance, reliability and versatility across all RF applications,” said Product Line Manager Steven Pong. “Our commitment is to provide tools that exceed the expectations of our industry, enabling innovation and efficiency.”
