Siemon Introduces New LightVerse Copper/Fiber Combo Patch Panels
Siemon recently created LightVerse Copper/Fiber Combo Patch Panels. These panels take up only 1U of rack space, have both flat and angled options, and can take 96 fibers, 48 copper connections, or a combination of both. These panels not only provide companies with the versatility to customize their connectivity solutions to their needs, but are also cost-effective and quick.
Siemon’s patch panels have an “innovative 6-port copper adapter plate, which supports effortless population of copper connections within the panel and is available as a separate item to support field terminations, or as a pre-terminated trunk option to help you deliver your copper connections ultra-fast.”
To match the companies’ needs of quick and efficient installations, Siemon offers a wide variety of high-quality copper and fiber pre-terminated trunks. These trunks can be installed up to 75% faster than traditional methods due to pre-tested solutions and factory-terminated connectors. The LightVerse Copper/Fiber Combo patch panels can also be modified in order to optimize cable management. This includes removable cable managers, both front and rear, and a fiber spool kit. These options have the user in mind and give efficient control of fiber and copper cable while still retaining peak performance, potential interference, and help reduce clutter.
As the demand increases for efficient and intelligent building/LAN environments, these patch panels are a solution to the issue of managing fiber and copper connections while saving space.
