Fujikura Europe recently released a new automatic stripper the SS110, and upgrades to its specialty application cleavers the CT110 and CT 111.
The SS10 was made with engineers in mind, and with its optional blade the SS110 works on a wide variety of fiber sizes from cladding to coating. The product has an automatic stripping mechanism that makes it simple to operate and produces consistent stripping results. It also has an RFID tag attached to the fiber holder. This RFID tag tells the stripper to automatically choose the most appropriate program for the fiber which removes the risk of failed strips occurring because of incorrect program selection.
When it comes to the CT110 and CT111 both cleavers have been upgraded from the CT 101 and 102 models to deliver better cleaving performance and time-saving automation which leads to improved user efficiency. The CT 111 also has an angled-cleaving function, which provides further versatility for cleaves between 0° and 15°.
Sameen Saleem, the European Business Development Engineer at Fujikura said, “The new cleaver and stripper have automated features for faster, more accurate performance for industries and applications including specialist R&D institutes, the aerospace industry, laser component manufacturers, and optical component production lines."
Fujikura’s launch of the SS110, CT110, and CT 111 show that the company wants to be at the forefront of fiber optic technology.
