MSolutions Introduces Its USB 3.2 Extender Set With Microsoft Azure Direct DK
MSolutions recently announced that its MS-63U1C USB-C extender set now works with Microsoft’s Azure Direct DK development kit, giving customers a way to improve connectivity inside collaboration rooms. MSolutions will be showcasing the product’s new abilities at ISE 2024 at stand 5G820 in the Fira de Barcelona from January 30th to February 2nd.
The new MS-63U1C USB-C extender set has a base capacity of 5Gb/s bandwidth for USB 3.2 Gen 1 signals and can be used for USB 3.2 signal extension up to 100 meters or 333 feet. The extender set is made to support SuperSpeed 3.2 compatibility so that the user’s data moves quickly and with zero latency inside meeting and learning spaces. It is also fully backward compatible with USB 2.0 and lower.
The Microsoft Azure Kinect DK developer kit gives users an open-source solution to easily integrate hardware components with AI sensors for computer vision and speech models. Utilizing the Azure Kinect DK with the MS-63U1C’s makes it so integrators and in-house installers can simply connect their PCs with the developer kit and synchronize a multitude of devices in the USB sector, including cameras and microphones.
The extender set includes a Host and Device, supplying users with the higher data transfer rates required to stream high-resolution video within collaborative spaces, as well as onto UC platforms for remote groups. The MS-63U1C allows for a tidier AV environment as it doesn’t rely on bulky active cables.
