The D 387 clamping fixture was designed for testing individually shielded twisted-pair cables at frequencies to 600 megahertz. The device is an option for the manufacturer`s cms-2XLD system and can connect four shielded pairs at one time while maintaining low noise-floor isolation. It features proprietary automatic insulation displacement connectors that eliminate the need to strip or crimp wire ends.
