Harnessing grommets

Sept. 1, 1997
The HRSR series of harnessing grommets manufactured by XL Technologies is available in five color-coded sizes to fit connector backshell sizes 8 to 24. The re-enterable, heat-shrinkable grommets are installed via a three-step process that involves heating the ring and sliding a nonmetallic probe through the center of the wire bundle. The ring remains open after it is cooled, allowing wires to be added, removed, or reworked.
