Surge-protection bases

June 1, 1997
Surge-protection bases for 10 and 25 pairs protect multiplexers, plcs, hubs, and lans against lightning surges and electrical transients. Each base can receive Citel`s 2-pair plug-in module E280, making it possible to mix and match modules with different firing voltages. Color-coded modules are available for telephone line protection, RS-232, RS-422, 4- to 20-mA current loops, isdn, T1/E1 lines, and lans. Input/output connections include screw terminals, at&t 110, 66 punchdown, and RJ-21.
