March 20, 2009--Corning Cable Systems' Industrial Connector Housing (ICH) and Industrial Splice Housing (ISH) families are designed as all-optical, tip-tip-solutions for manufacturing and industrial applications.

The ICH family is designed to accommodate conduit with either concentric knockouts (standard version) or rubber grommets (upgraded version), and both options accept standard LANscape Solutions connector panels and connector modules. Splicing is accomplished with the splice tray holding kit (ordered separately). The units have a padlock-capable outer door and a separate inner door that protects the provider side of the unit from unauthorized access. The inner door may also be locked by using an optional key lock.

The standard ICH is IEC IP64-rated, while the upgraded ICH is IP66, IP67 and IP69K-rated, with a baked-on silver-gray powder-coat finish and included reduction washer kit.

The ISH family is wall-mountable for transition splicing between cable at the building entrance or pigtail splicing, and is designed to provide storage and protection of fiber splices in individually accessible trays. The units have a padlock-capable outer door. The ISH is designed to accommodate conduit fittings with the provided plugs and reduction washer kit, and it accepts standard LANscape Solutions splice trays.

The ISH is IEC IP64, 65, 66, 67 and 69K-rated, features a baked on silver-gray powder coat finish, and may be used indoors or outdoors.

LANscape Industrial Solutions include fiber-optic cables, connectors, and hardware and test equipment, plus 24-hour technical support and engineering services.
