January 29, 2009 -- Cobra Wire and Cable, Inc. (Hatboro, PA) announced that Peter Sheehan has been appointed as the company's chief executive officer.
Sheehan comments, "I am excited to have the opportunity to lead Cobra through its next stages of growth and I believe we are well positioned to service the infrastructure expansion in energy, telecommunications and data storage. I look forward to working with Cobra's talented team."
Sheehan most recently served as president and executive vice president global sales and marketing, Belden Americas Division. Prior to that, Sheehan held executive positions with Cable Design Technology and Berk-Tek. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Boston College.
Cobra Wire and Cable, Inc., produces power cable and connectivity for various markets including central office, data centers, marine operations, battery applications and the energy market.
