Radiall launches BNC 75 ohm HDTV coaxial connector series with performance up to 6 GHz

CHANDLER, Ariz. -- January 19, 2010 --Radiall USA, Inc. has introduced its BNC 75 ohm HDTV Coaxial Connector Series, designed to handle data rates up to 3 Gbps or higher while supporting the broadcast industry's SMPTE 292M and 424M standards. The connectors feature gold plated center and outer contacts, which provide outstanding electrical performance with a frequency range of up to 6 GHz, optimized at 3 GHz. In addition, they are intermateable with standard 50 and 75 ohm BNC products, offering better mechanical performance and durability with 1000 mating cycles guaranteed, says the company. The connectors are also easily field installable on most coaxial cables using hand-crimping tools and have colored cable boots available for easy coding of video signals.

Radiall notes that its BNC 75 ohm HDTV Coaxial Connector Series, along with its high frequency F connectors, high density DIN 1.0/2.3 connectors, fiber optic systems and other interconnect solutions have been developed for use in broadcast studios and broadcast transmission systems such as cameras, video recorders, routers, switching, monitoring and signal measurement and control systems.
