The Fiber Broadband Association (FBA) has announced new strategic hires across its membership, public policy, and sales teams, reinforcing the organization’s goal to support nationwide fiber deployment. The new hires add another layer to the association’s 19 consecutive quarters of growth. Last quarter, the FBA reported operations revenue 23% above budget, fueled by regional events, growing membership, investment income, and nonconference sponsorships.

“Across the country, businesses, policymakers, and communities are showing a growing interest in fiber-based broadband services,” said Gary Bolton, President and CEO of FBA. “With these new team members, FBA is even better positioned to scale and demonstrate that trust in fiber is trust well placed.”

Public Policy Leadership Strengthened

Lukas Pietrzak is now the FBA’s Public Policy Director. Pietrzak brings extensive federal regulatory strategy and telecom policy experience from his time at the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) and the Department of Commerce. In these senior positions he worked on broadband expansion and deployment. In Pietrzak’s last role, he served as chief of staff for the NTIA’s Office of Internet Connectivity and Growth, which included overseeing the $42.3 billion BEAD program. While working with the NTIA, he also acted as a liaison to the White House, Department of Commerce, Congress, tribal governments, and state agencies.

Jeanne Le Delaizir also joins the FBA as one of the association’s recent hires. Her appointment as Policy Fellow follows a globe-trotting background. As an attorney and New York Bar member, her professional expertise mixes corporate practice, litigation public affairs, and advocacy spanning across France, Germany, and the United States.

Additional Hires Support Membership and Operations

The FBA also expanded its support team with new hires who will assist the Association’s membership programs, events, and 20 committees and working groups. These hires include:

  • Morgan Hubbard, Association and Member Services Assistant
  • Nura Shalabi, Sales Administrator
  • Jackie Coover, Community Management Coordinator
