Siemon Releases New Shipping Program for Its Direct Attach Copper Cables

Oct. 11, 2023
The RapidDAC quick ship program may prove to be extremely beneficial to data centers

Siemon has launched RapidDAC, a quick ship program for its Direct Attach Copper Cables (DACs). Ryan Harris, Siemon’s High-Speed Cable Assemblies Market Manager, discusses the RapidDAC program stating, "Siemon’s new North America quick ship program promotes our capability to ship 500 DACs, enough for 10 typical data center server cabinets, in 5 days or less. Whether it’s 50 cables or 500, our dynamic manufacturing can produce and ship DACs in 5 days after an order has been placed."

Siemon’s High-Speed Cable Assemblies are Ethernet 802.3 industry standard and Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) compliant, which helps with compatibility across switch-to-server connections. As a leading company in industry testing and ensuring quality parameters Siemon “guarantees world-class performance for network refreshes, equipment placements, and rack builds”.

If a project requires 10 racks or more, Siemon likes to ensure projects are affordable and get completed in a timely manner to meet the urgent demands of data center deployments without compromising the quality of service and products. It especially does this through its new RapidDAC program.
