AFL Hyperscale Rebrands

Feb. 6, 2024
AFL Hyperscale rebranding to AFL represents the company unifying itself to further meet both global and customer demands.

Background on AFL Hyperscale

AFL Hyperscale has rebranded to AFL, however, the company says it’s more than a name change, and “it signifies AFL's commitment to becoming the market leader in customer experience”. Since AFL Hyperscale’s inception, the company has had success with its differentiated network solutions for white space and data center interconnection, which put it on major cloud computing companies’ radars. AFL Hyperscale was also the first to launch A.I. thought leadership within fiber network design for the physical layer.

What the rebrand does

Under one brand, AFL, can prioritize sustainability by instituting more eco-friendly practices and reducing its environmental impact, meeting worldwide market demands. Starting in 2024, the company will expand its services across Europe, including a new manufacturing and distribution center in Poland. Outside of Europe, AFL will increase manufacturing capacity in Mexico to serve the U.S. market and build new sales and technical support offices in India.

Although these are major changes in the company, AFL will maintain its principles with customers being able to “expect the same value and high-performance quality from AFL's products and solutions”.

Steve Polidan, Vice President of Connectivity at AFL, commented on the rebrand stating, “As one team, we are laser-focused on our mission to connect our customers worldwide with innovative technologies, exceptional products, and high-quality services. Our new brand identity represents our deep commitment to greater customer satisfaction. As one AFL team, we look forward to a more sustainable future focused on faster innovation, seamless global resource alignment, and more rewarding customer experiences."
