Webinar discusses emerging data center switch architectures

Hosted by Leviton, the online seminar will discuss migration to 40- and 100-Gbit data speeds, and impacts on cabling designs.

On Tuesday, February 26 at 1pm EST, Leviton Network Solutions will host a 45-minute web-delivered seminar covering emerging switch architectures for data centers and the impact these architectures will have on cabling-system designs.

Leviton Network Solutions’ senior director of product management Gary Bernstein, RCDD, DCDC will deliver the presentation. In it, he will explain how switch architectures are having an impact on 40- and 100-Gbit Ethernet data center migration. According to Leviton Network Solutions, the session will provide “a detailed overview on new active equipment architectures from leading manufacturers, developing TIA cabling requirements, and their impact on cabling designs.”

The seminar will be delivered via the Brighttalk platform. You can register to attend the event here.

These Tower Tech XR cooling towers use evaporative cooling to remove heat generated within the data center by IT equipment. Composite cooling towers are more compact and significantly lighter than metal towers. They arrive at a data center site pre-built.
Data center designers shouldn’t sleep on the benefits of fiberglass construction materials.
