The Third Annual Greater Chicago Data Center Summit will be held on June 12, 2014 at the Holiday Inn Chicago Mart Plaza. The event will bring together data center real estate and technology infrastructure executives from the Greater Chicago area, the Midwest, and around the U.S. The event's organizers say that this year's event will focus on data center real estate, connectivity, and technology infrastructure.
According to a news release, more than 750 executives from 354 firms have attended this market intelligence and networking event since 2011. Attendees include leading investors, developers, owners, debt sources, equity sources, architects, engineers, end users, and industry service providers, gathered for important industry discussions, debates and networking.

This year's Chicago Data Center Summit will bring into focus new trends and emerging themes, including:
-- Analysis of supply-demand in Chicago Downtown and Chicago suburban markets and submarkets, and related opportunities;

-- How the various cloud offerings will impacting decision-making on the demand side;
-- How the future of Greater Chicago's data center industry is viewed with the emergence of new tech start-ups, in the context of the regional business climate and electricity options.
The National Data Center Summit Series, with regional events in New York, Santa Clara, Chicago, Washington, D.C., Dallas and Los Angeles, is billed as the premier market intelligence and networking event for data center, connectivity and technology infrastructure executives in the U.S. More than 5,000 have attended the series since 2011.
