Wright Line expands data center management team

Wright Line, a developer of advanced data center technology solutions, announced the appointment of Edward K. Eacueo as director of its data center business unit, and Gary P. Wong as director of its applications engineering division.

WORCESTER, MA --Wright Line, developer of advanced data center technology solutions, today announced the appointment of Edward K. Eacueo as Director, Data Center Business Unit, and Gary P. Wong as Director, Applications Engineering.

"Ed and Gary, both, bring expert level experience and highly skilled capability to their new positions," said Carl Cottuli, Wright Line's Vice President of Product Development and Services. "Their backgrounds will further enhance the direction of our data center business and augment our insight as we translate our customer's data center vision into data center air flow management and infrastructure solutions."

A technology industry veteran, Edward Eacueo, has 25 years of global experience leading sales, marketing, and engineering organizations in information technology, commercial electronics and military markets. His expert knowledge of racks/enclosures and critical data center power and cooling applications, will guide the strategic direction, business plan and management of Wright Line's Data Center Market segment.

Prior to his new Wright Line appointment, Mr. Eacueo, who is highly skilled at developing strong customer and channel partner relationships, held several executive level positions of increasing responsibility with American Power Conversion, Pentair Electronic Packaging, Carlo Gavazzi and Raytheon.

Mr. Eacueo, who has published several articles on the data center, holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Engineering Sciences from Dartmouth College and a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Design from the Thayer School of Engineering.

With over 20 years of experience in the mission-critical data center industry, Gary Wong, will lead Wright Line's applications engineering team and provide the group with direction, structure, process, engineering support and project management guidance. He will help to convert customers' requirements and preferences into highly skilled technology solutions.

Before he took on his new position with Wright Line, Mr. Wong, who is well-accomplished in data center management, professional IT services management, critical facility assessment and customer services management, held managerial assignments with American Power Conversion, Fidelity Investments and Kemper Insurance. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute

Wright Line's data center solutions, including IT rack enclosures, airflow management and heat containment, provide an overall approach to handling data center environmental operations. They include the efficient management of existing cooling, power distribution and cabling infrastructure, which optimizes data center airflow.
