Data Center Compass, an online data center planning tool developed by Acuity, will be the subject of a free 20-minute webinar hosted by Communications Supply Corp. on Tuesday, November 30. Taking place at 3 pm EST, the webinar will explain how the Data Center Compass tool allows data center planners to assess true needs and costs, subsequently cutting their planning time for retrofit and new data center facilities.
The tagline for the Data Center Compass planning tool is: Plan, Budget, Report, Collaborate. According to Acuity, its tool aids organizations of any size by providing a blueprint for data center builds. Users can identify data center planning project constraints and explore design solutions, Acuity says. Additionally, the Compass tool enables its users to compare and test alternative design concepts based on industry best practices and translate those concepts into financial terms. It also provides detailed reports for construction estimates as well as documenting clearly defined concepts and benchmarks for project scope and costs, Acuity adds. Data Center Compass also provides reports and a holistic perspective for different levels of expertise in order to facilitate project communication.
