Wirewerks (Montreal, QC), a manufacturer of network infrastructure systems, announced that Édouard (Edd) Tabet has been promoted to the position of Vice President - Engineering & Operations.
Per a company statement, "After many years of success in roles of increasing responsibility at Wirewerks, Edd now assumes full responsibility for the company’s product engineering and development teams, and for the company’s technical operations."
Tabet received his Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering in 2004 from Polytechnique Montréal, an affiliate of the Université de Montréal; and has spent his entire career in the field of network infrastructure technology.
Starting as an intern at NORDX/CDT and working later as a project engineer at Belden, Tabet joined Wirewerks in 2009 as senior project engineer and advanced to the director of engineering position in 2013. He is a member of the Quebec Order of Engineers (OIQ), and the Project Management Institute (PMI).
Tabet is based at Wirewerks’ global headquarters in Montréal where he enjoys an active lifestyle with his wife and two children.
