Panduit will host a virtual summit on Wednesday, November 4, during which the company, alongside some of its partners and customers, will deliver four roundtable sessions. The sessions will focus on subjects including emerging and developing technologies, audio-visual (AV) systems, data center networking, and a case-study look at the infrastructure deployed at the University of California Davis Medical Center. (Cabling Installation & Maintenance recently honored Panduit and the UC Davis Medical Center with a Platinum award in our Cabling Innovators Awards program.)
The two-hour summit will take place from 10am to 12pm Central Standard Time on November 4. After a brief introduction, the first session will feature Panduit’s Lindsey Parker, Jeffrey Paliga, and Jamey Swigert discussing trends and technologies that have an impact on business today and will further impact business in the future. The theme of this trio’s discussion is consistent with Panduit’s name for the summit: What’s Now and What’s Next.
The UC Davis Medical Center site will be the focus of the next session, which will include insight from UC Davis’s data center architect Lopaka Gaspar and its director of IT infrastructure Matt Aguilar, along with experts from Panduit, General Cable, and manufacturers’ rep partner Ewing-Foley.
Then Brad Bennett, president of cabling contractor and AV integrator Look Communications, will join Atlona’s Amy Hacker to describe how Look has found success deploying AV systems for several types of users.
The summit’s final session will examine converged data center infrastructure, with a specific focus on the Dell VxBlock product portfolio. It will feature Dell product management consultant Antoin Slatara along with Panduit’s Paul Herbst, Dennis Waszak, and Jeff Paliga.
