Network Connex today announced that the company has broadened its network communication service offerings into the U.S. Pacific Northwest (PNW). The company has expanded its operations by adding new locations in Idaho, Oregon, and Washington, and said in a press release that it plans to hire more than 80 new employees.
With this move, the specialist firm in mission-critical digital communications infrastructure services says it is now positioned to provide engineering expertise and aerial/underground fiber optic installation services throughout the Pacific Northwest region.
In September 2020, NTI Connect, LLC (NTI - Chicago), the nationwide provider of mission-critical deployment services for wireless, fiber-optic, data center and cable network infrastructure, changed its name to Network Connex.
Network Connex, along with its now-subsidiary National Technologies (NTI) organization, is an expert in fiber-optic installation, repair, and replacement services. The company says the new business expansion into the PNW region reflects its strategic plans to grow its presence to provide best-in-class digital communications infrastructure services throughout the U.S.
Network Connex has been a portfolio company of a fund managed by ORIX Capital Partners since June 2018. The firm's range of turnkey capabilities and services include design and engineering; wireless and fiber construction; fiber placement, testing, and acceptance; construction management; and integration.
The company contends its expertise touches all phases of digital infrastructure construction. From engineering to fiber backbone installation, Network Connex says its outside plant (OSP) services will now benefit network operators and end users across the PNW region, including those involved with federal fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) initiatives.
Network Connex president and CEO Christopher Larocca remarked:
“In the information age, the demand for faster and more dependable data transmission requires ever increasing bandwidth. As our customers’ needs and footprints evolve, we are continually deepening our capabilities and extending our reach with the most reliable and scalable end-to-end solutions. We look forward to the opportunity to serve the Pacific Northwest with our broad range of turnkey capabilities through our expanded fiber operations.”
