New product family including wall-mounted and standalone cabinets becomes part of the R&Mfreenet system.

R&M recently introduced 19-inch cabinets made of sheet steel, which accommodate LAN equipment including servers, switches, and patch panels as well as PCs, network drives, routers, power supplies, fans, and IoT devices.

Part of the R&Mfreenet system, these 19-inch cabinets are manufactured in R&M facilities and carry a five-year warranty. The full product line comprises wall cabinets from 9 to 24 height units, and standard-size standing 42U cabinets. Glass and perforated doors are available.

The standing cabinet accommodates a load of 1500 kg (~3300 pounds) and can be configured in several ways. R&M commented, “Thanks to their attractive design, the network cabinets fit into any environment such as offices, public buildings, residential buildings and industrial facilities.

“The R&Mfreenet cabinets complement the R&M range for network infrastructure available worldwide,” the company continued. “For building and floor distributors in LAN installations, R&M therefore offers all-in-one solutions with cabling, fixtures, and cabinets. Accessories include cable managers, cable brackets, shelves, and drawers.”

R&M will deliver the 19-inch cabinets individually or in any quantity; they are available as a space-saving flat-pack version, or as a preassembled version that reduces assembly time.
