Clearfield Increases Its Supply Chain Efficiency With a New Protection Vault
Background on the vault
Clearfield recently announced the launch of its CraftSmart Fiber Protection Vault which “eliminates the current supply chain constraints and delivers a 300% improvement in shipping and inventory space”. The vault’s design allows for it to be shipped unassembled and flat packed, allowing for multiple vaults to be shipped per pallet and saving up to 67% off freight, transportation, handling, and storage costs.
Clearfield’s Chief Marketing Officer, Kevin Morgan, stated, “We have been diligently working to improve our supply chain process so our community broadband customers have the products each need when needed, so they can meet the deadlines and requirements for expanding fiber broadband as part of NTIA BEAD and other federal funding programs.”
