BICSI appoints manager of training delivery and operations

BICSI recently announced it has promoted Garry White, RCDD, RTPM, CCNA to the position of manager of training delivery and operations. White has been with BICSI since 2010 and previously served as master instructor/subject matter expert.

“In his new role, some of White’s duties include managing department-sponsored event development, implementation and evaluation; supporting the development and continuing education of BICSI instructors and authorized training facilities; and administering the BICSI Authorized Training Facility Program,” BICSI said when announcing his promotion.

White studied computer engineering at Daytona State College and the University of Central Florida. He holds several industry certificates as well as credentials from both BICSI (RCDD, RTPM) and Cisco (CCNA).

BICSI also announced it has hired Barry Julien as its director of IT. Julien has a master’s degree in management of technology from NYU Polytechnic Institute. In his 15 years of experience in the technology field, Julien has held IT management positions with AT&T, Spring Air Inc., The Wallace Foundation and Republic National Bank.

As director of IT, Julien oversees all IT department functions, BICSI explained. He also is responsible for the development and implementation of technology strategies for the association, and is responsible for maintaining and improving the operational effectiveness of BICSI’s IT department and all IT business procedures.
