Beacon Solutions targets Smart Buildings
“Homer has been a tremendous asset to Beacon since he joined the company at its inception in 2007, and has made significant contributions to our growth during the past several quarters,” said Bruce Widener, CEO of Beacon Solutions. “His industry contacts and extensive relationships have consistently led to sizable project and revenue opportunities for Beacon. Among his current responsibilities is supporting the management of Beacon’s relationships with two of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world, one of the industry’s largest manufacturers of ITS related infrastructure products and one of the largest grocery chains in the United States, among others. While Homer’s focus will remain on global sales, business development and account management, we believe that increasing his visibility and authority within our organization will enable Homer to make more effective contributions to our continued growth and margin expansion efforts.”
Homer Wicke stated, “Along with other members of our regional, national and global sales teams, I spend much of my time on the road visiting current and potential customers and listening to facilities and IT management professionals. Today, more than ever, enterprise level managers are expressing the need for fully integrated ITS design, installation and management services. Ongoing adoption and convergence of new technologies combined with a need for greater efficiency and cost containment have led to an increased awareness of the relationship between ITS infrastructure and other mission critical objectives within the enterprise market. I look forward to continuing to participate in Beacon’s growth and the development of its expanding position in the market, while further contributing to its success.”
