The Horizon Series are modular, lightweight DC power systems for central offices, remote terminals, outside-plant huts, controlled-environment vaults and remote cell sites. They feature hot-pluggable insertion of the company`s Vector Series rectifiers and +24V to -48V DC converter modules into an intelligent backplane that is connected to the system controller/monitor, simplifying installation. Total front access provides for easy installation and maintenance, and plug-in breakers and fuses can be changed or easily added to accommodate new loads or equipment conversions.
