Milwaukee BOLT Head Lamp

Milwaukee Tool is introducing the BOLT Rechargeable Low-Profile Headlamp, which includes a built-in battery and a design that allows installers and technicians to see in tight spaces. The USB-C rechargeable headlamp fits the manufacturer’s BOLT hard hats and helmets, and is compatible with other BOLT accessories.

“The ultra-thin light head allows for full functionality with BOLT face shields and visors in addition to a 70-degree pivoting light head,” Milwaukee said when it announced the light, which will be available in May. It offers 6 light output modes, with up to 600 lumens as well as a low red-light mode for visibility in dimly lit areas. It provides up to 16 hours of runtime. The cam-lock design increases hold strength, Milwaukee added.

It also includes rear red light safety indicators with visibility up to a quarter mile for enhanced awareness on low-light jobsites. The lamp is IP54-rated for water and dust resistance and can withstand drops from as high as 6 feet. It is warranted for 2 years.

The 6 modes of operation and the battery-life-length for each are as follows.

  • Flood High: 400 lumens; 8 hours
  • Flood Low: 100 lumens; 16 hours
  • Spot High: 400 lumens; 8 hours
  • Spot Low: 100 lumens; 16 hours
  • Hybrid: 600 lumens; 6 hours
  • Red Low Light: 16 hours
