6-kWh Power Supply for the Jobsite
Milwaukee Tool recently introduced the Roll-On 7200W/3600W 6.0 kWh Power Supply, which the company describes as “an on-demand power solution engineered to eliminate gas and temporary power frustrations on the job,” adding that the product is “designed for efficiency, safety, and productivity” and “delivers professional-grade power while removing common jobsite power challenges.”
It is equipped with a REDLITHIUM integrated 6.0kWh battery and delivers 7200W of starting power and 3600W of running power. Milwaukee Tool points out that a pure sine wave inverter protects sensitive electronics while pass-through power capability allows simultaneous charging and discharging. The power supply includes 2, 20A GFCI duplex outlets with circuit breakers; 1, USB-C port; and 1, USB-A port. This combination enables simultaneous power delivery for multiple 20A corded tools, power chargers, and personal electronics.
Milwaukee’s group product manager Jake Van Wormer explains that Roll-On “eliminates the hassles of gas and temporary power such as heavy extension cord use, outlet overcrowding, pull starts, and gas management. We’ve expanded on the capability of the lineup, delivering over twice the runtime needed to power more demanding applications for longer.”
The company boasts that the power supply is a zero-emissions product that exhibits quiet operation and an IP54 rating. It’s good for indoor and temporary outdoor use. It has 9.5-inch all-terrain wheels. The power supply charges to 100% in 8 hours, and to 25% in 1 hour 40 minutes. It is 20 inches in height and 25 inches wide.
It is integrated with Milwaukee Tool’s One-Key technology that enables tool tracking, security management, and adjustable charge rate settings. It’s also compatible with the company’s PackOut Modular Storage System.
A separately available cover protects against dust and debris during storage.
