Real World Training and Certification
The Fluke Networks Certified Cabling Test Technician™ (CCTT) course consists of two days, each comprised of three parts -- classroom training, hands-on labs and exam/certification exercises.

Day One  Copper. DSX Series CableAnalyzer™ testing, Versiv™ introduction and common settings, Exporting configuration and results, Copper test limits/standards, Adapter types, Configuring for a twisted pair test, Making a measurement and reviewing the result. New test parameters: DC Resistance Unbalance, TCL, ELTCTL. DSX diagnostics HDTDX and HDTDR. Single test. Patch cord certification. Alien Crosstalk

Day Two: Fiber. CertiFiber™ Pro testing, Basic fiber theory, Encircled flux. Configuring the CertiFiber Pro, Fiber inspection, Automated analysis. Setting a reference for a duplex link, LC to LC duplex. Creating a custom test limit. ISO/IEC 14763-3. Understanding how the different connector losses differ from other standards. Setting a reference for a simplex link. SC/APC to SC/APC


Technicians who complete this course:

  • Will fully understand the standards and technology that drives high-performance structured cabling systems.
  • Can demonstrate their understanding in a real world scenario using the cable analyzer to test, troubleshoot and achieve optimal performance of new high performance network cabling installations.
  • Apply their training in a wide variety of applications.
  • Learn how to take advantage of the powerful diagnostics and analysis capabilities of the cable analyzer to complete cabling certification projects professionally, on-time and within budget.
  • Qualify for seven BICSI continuing education credits per completed day.

Who should attend: The course is designed for network cabling contractors and enterprise network owners who currently own or anticipate purchasing Versiv / DSX series cable certification equipment.

Why attend: The CCTT course provides “expert” level training on the Versiv / DSX cable analyzer series.
