Panduit’s subsidiary company, Atlona, opened a renovated EMEA Training Center at the Panduit European headquarters. The training center originally opened in 2020 and has been updated for the next generation of AV training requirements, with all the same content and equipment as the company’s training facilities in the United States.

At the training center real-world AV scenarios and installations are simulated including Omega collaboration and presentation, OmniStream AV over IP, and more. This provides partners with hands-on user experience before distributing systems in the field for end users.

The training courses consist of several modules and levels that include AV fundamentals, control, networking, and system setup and configuration. Although, most trainings begin online before moving to hands-on training and advanced theory.

Thorsten Goecke, Business Director of EMEA Atlona, stated, “The important takeaway is that our partners will gain a thorough knowledge of every solution Atlona provides, and learn how to deliver the best solutions and services to their customers.”

Goecke notes that partners have greatly expressed interest in Velocity training, in particular, as AV control changes in ways that serve new requirements. He further states that with the training program the “learning curve is greatly reduced”.
