Drywall dust and debris pile up with every hole cut for an outlet. To keep area clean, attach a hose from a portable vacuum to a drywall saw with tape. As the hole for the outlet is cut, the vacuum consumes the dust and debris. Place a sheet of paper on the floor underneath the vacuum and saw to catch the debris that escapes. Tuck the edge of the paper under the base of the wall molding. When finished cutting the hole, remove the vacuum from the saw and use it to pick up the debris on the paper.
