Underwriters Laboratories (www.ul.com) is offering additional performance testing services to the latest draft of TIA/EIA 568-B.2, Addendum 10 (Augmented Category 6 requirements, including alien measurements), as well as TSB-155, which contains additional recommendations for Gigabit Ethernet applications.

The services, available at UL’s Center of Excellence for LAN Cabling Product testing in Melville, NY, include applicable alien measurements as required by the standard. UL can also provide the services under its Witness Test Data Program, verifying acceptability of test equipment, methods, and samples on-site.
