Pull-Planner 2000 software uses commonly accepted pulling equations to estimate cable-pulling tension and sidewall pressure around bends. This PC-based program approaches a pull in segments, each of which consists of a straight section and a bend. Users can print hard copy with all pull details and calculation results; enter or calculate maximum allowable cable tension or sidewall pressure; determine conduit fill, cable configuration, jam ratio, and clearance for any combination of wires and cable in a pull; and change cable data without re-entering conduit system details.
