The Beamprop Version 2.0 is an enhanced edition of RSoft`s CAD/simulation software package for design and simulation of optical waveguide and fiber-based photonic devices. It can perform semi- and full-vector simulations in addition to scalar calculations. Other features include automated parameter scanning, generation of mask files in GDSII format, as well as AutoCAD DXF, user-defined geometric tapes and index profiles, and additional graphical-analysis options.
